Generations of Petretta winemakers in Avellino, famous for widely-sought-after superior vintages, mastered their craft using pure, ancient, traditional methods. From father to child, winemaking was practiced with respect and reverence. The living vitality of wine, it’s cycles and stages, daily tended and nurtured.

Giovanni Petretta, whose legacy of winemaking shattered when an earthquake destroyed six generations of hard-earned land and vintages, pulls from his unshakable belief, faith, and passion to “complete the circle” here in New York’s Hudson Valley. Together with wife Kathleen, he asserts his winemaking blood-rite while welcoming participation in the experience.
